The southwest end of the Park & Ride affords reasonable views of the night sky from an accessible location with good parking and onsite toilets.
The car park is lit until later in the evening but usually switches off before 10pm. View below 10 degrees is restricted by hedges and trees but lots of room to set up and is reasonably sheltered from the prevailing wind.
