Nuthatch Retreat
Brain's Green, Blakeney, Gloucestershire, GL15 4AJ, South West England
Enjoy laidback luxury in a creative and peaceful eco-retreat where beauty, nature, and thoughtful design combine to help you unfurl tired limbs, breathe more deeply and sleep more soundly. Nestled on a quiet hillside, our level access single-storey lodge offers a tranquil escape with calming interiors and sumptuous finishes creating a space that feels both homely and indulgent.
The large terrace looks out over treetops to valley views and big skies with clear views of the night sky all year round. We’re also close to various woodland spots, on foot or by car, from which you can find great stargazing spots amongst the trees. The terrace is ideal for setting up a telescope or you can run a piping hot bath and enjoy the stars from our cosy Japanese-style outdoor deep-soak bath tub and stay cosy afterwards by the fire pit.
Wake up to dramatic sunrises and coffee on the terrace and enjoy afternoon naps steeped in birdsong. Happily while away the hours with games, books and a cinema before the next night of stargazing begins.
Stay & Gaze - this location benefits from dark skies, relatively low levels of light pollution, is astronomy friendly and suitable for stargazing breaks.
