Stargazing in the New Forest with Experience Hampshire

Join local astronomers at Maple Field in Fordingbridge for a small-group stargazing experience exploring the wonders of the night sky.
Learn to recognise bright stars and constellations and discover their stories and historical use in navigation before observing through a variety of equipment, from traditional telescopes to modern astro-imaging technology. Depending on conditions, you may see planets, star clusters, nebulae, stellar remnants and distant galaxies. You are also welcome to bring your own binoculars or telescope.
This £34-per-person experience takes place entirely outdoors and will only go ahead if sky conditions are suitable. If the weather forces a cancellation, participants will be notified by 12 noon on the day. Be sure to wrap up very warm and wear suitable footwear.
