Stargazing in Cranborne Chase Dark Sky Reserve

Cranbourne Chase was awarded Dark Sky Reserve status by the International Dark-Sky Association in October 2019, in recognition of the beautiful nighttime skies above this region which is also an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

It’s a great place to escape the bright lights of the South coast and nearby cities with a number of official Dark Sky Discovery Sites which make for great locations to go stargazing.
