The York Astronomical Society will hold an informal meeting this Friday, there will be some short presentations in the café followed by a Star Party if the weather is clear.
There will be cameras attached to telescopes so you can see the images of the night sky. If you wish to look directly through an eyepiece, please wear a mask and use a hand-sanitiser to reduce the risk of Covid transmission.
In the case of poor weather, members will be around to answer any questions you may have on telescopes.
The entry fee will be £2 for members and £5 for non-members, the meeting will start at 8 pm, and drinks will be available from the Café.
