Rose Cottage is located just a few miles from the town of Malton and offers fantastic views out onto farmland by day and fabulous starry skies by night.
Its location in a small village with no on-street lighting means light pollution is at a minimum — guests have often commented on the incredible number of stars they have seen whilst relaxing in the private hot tub at night!
The cottage sleeps four and welcomes up to two dogs. It benefits a modern shower room, comfortable seating area, internet-ready TV, and a well-equipped kitchen.
The venue offers easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail plus lots of off-road walks from the doorstep. Dalby Forest, which hosts numerous stargazing events from Autumn through Spring, is a 30-minute drive away.
Stay & gaze - this location benefits from dark skies, relatively low levels of light pollution, is astronomy friendly and suitable for stargazing breaks. If you visit and find that the location is not dark sky friendly please let us know!
