As the brighter evenings of Spring and Summer limit nighttime stargazing, Sherwood Observatory shifts focus to the Sun. Join them for a series of special daytime events featuring safe solar observing through dedicated solar telescopes.
You’ll have the chance to see incredible details like sunspots and solar flares. These events also include engaging planetarium presentations that bring the wider universe to life, offering a perfect introduction to astronomy for visitors of all ages.
