Milky Way and Meteor Photography at Burnhope Reservoir

This workshop is timed for full astronomical darkness, maximum visibility of the late summer Milky Way, and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. What more could an astrophotographer wish for?
The exact route will depend on the group’s preferences, and shooting opportunities. We’ll most likely start on the western shore of the Reservoir.
We welcome all ability levels, from absolute beginners, to people who’ve dabbled with night photography, to more experienced photographers.
The beauty of taking photographs at night is that you start with a blank canvas, and don’t have to allow for daylight. You can either shoot in available light, or add your own with a torch (if you don’t know how to yet, we’ll show you).
