Elan Dark Sky Festival: Light Painting Photography
Friday 27th March 2026 from 21:00pm to 22:00pm
Nantgwyllt Church
Elan Valley, Rhayader, Powys, LD6 5HE, Wales
Join astrophotographer Dafydd Wyn Morgan for a hands-on workshop designed to develop your night photography skills in the remarkable setting of the Elan Valley Dark Sky Park. Learn how to create striking images using light painting techniques, capturing short flashes of light against the backdrop of twilight and moonlit landscapes.
Inspired by the work of Eric Paré and Kim Henry, this session will guide you through the practical skills needed to experiment confidently with light, movement, and long exposures under some of the darkest, clearest skies in the UK.
This event takes place as part of the Elan Valley Dark Skies Festival 2026.
Please note that this has already taken place on 27/03/2026
