Stargazing for Beginners at Twice Brewed Observatory
Everyday from December 2022 to March 2023
Twice Brewed Observatory and Planetarium
Bardon Mill, Hexham, Northumberland, NE47 7AN
Enjoy the spectacularly dark skies of Northumberland at this stargazing event at the Twice Brewed Observatory.
These events are ideal for beginners and families, with each group of guests given a Dobsonian telescope with astronomers on hand offering friendly, expert guidance.
Throughout Winter, the planets Mars, Jupiter and Venus will be visible in the evening skies, and these look awesome through telescopes!
Note that these events occur on most days from December to the end of March, with start times changing through the year as darkness falls earlier. Please check the Twice Brewed website to confirm the exact dates and times.
Stargazing packages are available to include dinner, bed and breakfast, thus making an excellent opportunity for a weekend break. Hadrian’s Wall, Vindolanda Roman Fort, Sycamore Gap and The Sill Landscape Discovery Centre are all within walking distance.
Please note that this has already taken place on 01/12/2022
