Swinton Bivouac is part of the 20,000 acre Swinton Estate and a rural experience for friends and family. Sited in a beautiful location, it is one of the most picturesque settings in the Yorkshire Dales.
Home to rustic Tree Lodges, built using traditional round wood timber framing techniques, meadow Yurts, the Loft & Snug and the Druid’s Temple, a local historical site and impressive folly constructed during the late 1800’s.
As you walk through the woodland there are breath-taking views over the moorland and valley below.
Stay & Gaze - this location benefits from dark skies, relatively low levels of light pollution, is astronomy friendly and suitable for stargazing breaks.
