On the evening of 12th August 2026, guests staying at Ashes Farm can enjoy the rare opportunity to witness a partial solar eclipse from the beautiful dark skies of the Yorkshire Dales.
Set within the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park and close to the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct, our cosy self-catering cottage and luxury lodges provide the perfect countryside setting to relax, unwind and experience this memorable astronomy event.
Our peaceful location within an official Dark Sky Reserve makes Ashes Farm ideal for stargazing and watching celestial events away from city lights. Guests are welcome to bring their own certified solar eclipse glasses to safely enjoy the partial eclipse from their private outdoor seating areas.
