Grimwith Reservoir offers a wonderful escape from light pollution and opportunity to observe the fantastic starry skies above the Yorkshire Dales Dark Sky Reserve.
There is a free car park next to Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club accessible from the B6265. Note there is a height barrier at the entrance to this car park.
The location offers a picnic area and toilets (unsure if these are 24 hour).
