Dan Tani is a veteran American NASA Astronaut and engineer renowned for his contributions to human spaceflight and space station operations. Selected by NASA in 1996, he has logged over 131 days in space across two spaceflight missions, performed multiple spacewalks, and served as a flight engineer aboard the International Space Station. With a strong background in mechanical engineering and space mission operations, Dan continues to inspire space enthusiasts worldwide through his engaging talks and deep insights into life and work beyond Earth.

This event is open to all Armchair Astronaut members and the wider space community. Our Space Socials are built on a spirit of community and shared curiosity, bringing together everyone from enthusiastic amateurs to professionals working across the space industry.
