Stargazing Workshop at Carey's Secret Garden
Friday 20th March 2026 from 19:15pm to 21:15pm
Carey's Secret Garden
Garden Wood, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 7PG, South West England
Join Kate from Skyhigh Astronomy at this stunning location to hear all about the stars and planets, look through a telescope, and learn about a wide range of topics including how stars form, the myths and legends behind some of the constellations, and how our Stone Age ancestors might have used the night sky. If you have your own binoculars, feel free to bring them along. The cloudy night alternative will feature a digital night sky tour, followed by a trip through our local solar system, including up-to-date images, videos and sounds, as well as meteorite handling, all the while keeping an eye on the sky for any clear spells.
Please note that this has already taken place on 20/03/2026
