Stargazing with Wild About Exmoor
Friday 12th January 2024 from 18:00pm to 21:00pm
Exford Bridge Tea Rooms
Chapel Street, Exford, Somerset, TA24 7PY
Explore the night skies above Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve with the team from Wild About Exmoor at this regular monthly Friday night stargazing session!
Enjoy the comfort of the wood burner whilst the friendly husband and wife astronomer team start the “Starry Sky” presentation and discover what stars are, where they form and how our ancestors of long ago would have viewed them Then, if the weather is clear, head outside and experience a laser guided view of the night sky in conjunction with telescopic observations. If the weather is inclement, there is no need to worry as we will stay in the comfort and warmth and star hop using our indoor virtual sky planetarium.
For the Winter months from October through to April, the Exford Tea Rooms host a warming three-course dinner to set you up for a splendid evening of stargazing.
Wild About Exmoor can also organise stargazing sessions customised to you (minimum numbers do apply) so please get in touch with them for more information.
Please note that this has already taken place on 12/01/2024
