Join the friendly astronomers from Aberdeen West Astronomy Group for an evening of stargazing at their observatory in Kirkhill Forest, just outside Aberdeen. Whether you are completely new to astronomy or already an experienced stargazer, everyone is welcome to come along, meet the group and explore the night sky.
Weather permitting, the group will use their telescopes to observe a variety of celestial objects visible on the night, with experienced members on hand to share their knowledge and answer questions.
These events are weather dependent and may be changed or cancelled at short notice. Please check the Aberdeen West Astronomy Group Facebook page for the latest updates before travelling. No prior booking is required.
