Join Astro Dog at Danby Lodge Dark Skies Station for an unforgettable evening beneath the exceptionally dark skies of the North York Moors International Dark Sky Reserve. Enjoy a guided tour of the night sky and, weather permitting, use binoculars and large telescopes to explore planets, star clusters, galaxies, nebulae and other celestial wonders.
If clouds get in the way, the experience continues in the warm room, where a large TV screen will be used to explore the wonders of the Universe, alongside fascinating insights into astronomy, stargazing software and useful apps. Events last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and are suitable for anyone keen to discover more about the night sky.
