Stargazing at Bolton Abbey
Thursday 30th October 2025 from 19:30pm to 21:30pm
Bolton Abbey
Bolton Priory, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 6AL
Join expert astronomer Richard Darn (Dark Skies UK) for a journey into the cosmos as part of the Yorkshire Dales Dark Sky Fringe Festival.
Given clear skies we’ll have telescopes at the ready to spy wonders like Saturn and a half moon over in the west, plus a treasure strove of other heavenly sights.
The event will include a relaxing walk to a suitable viewing site and even if the weather doesn’t co-operate, we’ll use a special planetarium programme inside to reveal the wonder of the night sky.
Numbers for this event are very limited so please book your place in advance.
