Star Gazing in the New Forest
Wednesday 6th May 2026 from 22:15pm to Thursday 7th May 2026 00:15am
Tilefield Equestrian
Lymington Road, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, SO42 7UE, South East England
This popular two-hour workshop begins with a guided tour of the constellations before participants use large telescopes to explore the night sky, following in the footsteps of astronomers such as Galileo and Herschel.
Depending on conditions, guests may observe highlights including the Moon, planets like Jupiter, Saturn, Mars or Venus, sparkling star clusters, nebulae, and distant galaxies such as Andromeda.
Telescopes are provided and the team will try to capture photos of observed objects where possible, though this depends on group size and time.
The experience is fully weather dependent and may be cancelled or postponed at short notice if conditions are unsuitable.
