Join the astronomers at Hampstead Scientific Society’s historic Hampstead Observatory for a fascinating afternoon of safe solar observing.

Look at the Sun through a variety of specially filtered telescopes, revealing features such as sunspots and the Sun’s ever-changing surface in complete safety. You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in simple scientific observations and measurements while learning more about our nearest star from experienced volunteers.

This family-friendly event is suitable for all ages. Tickets are released Saturday at 5:00 pm.
