Join members of the South East Kent Astronomical Society (SEKAS) at South Foreland Lighthouse for an opportunity to explore the wonders of the day and night sky.
Founded in 1972, SEKAS brings together over 100 members with a shared passion for astronomy. Throughout the day, visitors can view astronomical equipment, discover stunning astrophotography, and learn more about observing the universe from experienced amateur astronomers.
Those considering purchasing a telescope will have the chance to see a range of equipment and receive advice on choosing the right instrument for their needs.
If weather conditions prevent outdoor observing, the event will continue in the Marconi Hut, where society members will showcase their photographs, discuss their equipment, and share insights into their astronomical projects and achievements.
