Join UTC Oxfordshire for a family-friendly evening of safe solar observing as they open their grounds for the partial solar eclipse on Wednesday 12 August. From 6:30pm to 8:00pm, visitors will have the opportunity to watch the Moon take a dramatic bite out of the Sun while learning more about this remarkable celestial event.
Special solar eclipse glasses, courtesy of Go Stargazing, will be provided so everyone can observe the eclipse safely. Members of the team will also be on hand to answer questions and help visitors make the most of this unforgettable astronomical event. Weather permitting.
