Enjoy an evening of stargazing with friendly astronomers from the West Yorkshire Astronomical Society at this special Friday night open evening at their fantastic Rosse Observatory in celebration of National Astronomy Week.
Enjoy amazing views through their large 14″ aperture Schmidt-Cassegrain reflecting telescope. See the planets Mars and Jupiter in incredible detail, if the weather permits!
This event goes ahead no matter the weather, with a presentation or an informal, friendly chat in the warm observatory room if cloudy.
Cost £7.00 per person or £10 per family (2 adults), accompanied children (under 18s) are free.
