Enjoy an evening walk through Moffat, the UK’s only Dark Sky Town, combining stargazing, local whisky, and insights into dark-sky conservation. Guided by experts from Moffat Community Observatory, participants will explore the night sky under a full moon, visit the observatory’s telescopes, and learn how the town works together to reduce light pollution and protect its dark skies. The evening also includes a stop at Moffat Distillery to see its dark-sky-friendly lighting in action and enjoy a whisky tasting.
