Cuerden Valley Park is a 650 acre public park, maintained and managed by Cuerden Valley Park Trust, an independent charity which receives no funding from Local Authorities towards the upkeep of the Park, relying instead on income from car parking and the numerous events held throughout the year at the Park. The park has a new eco-visitor centre as well as woodland, parkland, meadows, a lake, ponds and gardens.
