Stargazing in England

England is host to numerous stargazing destinations, including observatories, dark sky sites, nature reserves, parks and beauty spots. Naturally, the further away from the larger towns and cities the less light pollution and the more stars that can be seen. However, the best locations are those that you can get to easily, and often travelling only a few miles out of town away from the bright lights can make a huge difference.
