The Castle Semple Visitor Centre located on the shores of Castle Semple Loch makes for a great out-of-town stargazing venue. With easy access from Glasgow however being distant enough to escape the bright city lochs it makes for an excellent location to see the stars. The venue regularly hosts stargazing events with assistance from astronomers from Coats Observatory.
