The Hebridean Dark Skies Festival is delighted to welcome Stephen Mackintosh of Highland Astronomy back to Lewis for a stargazing event at Calanais Visitor Centre.
Stephen presents astronomy talks and stargazing sessions all over Scotland; he has previously hosted popular Dark Skies events at the Edge Cafe at Gallan Head, Comunn Eachdraidh Nis and Kinloch Community Hub as an online event in 2021.
This will be an indoor event but will include – weather permitting – a walk under the stars at Lewis’s most famous historical site.
This event takes place as part of the Hebridean Dark Skies Festival 2022.
