The Hebridean Dark Skies Festival is an ambitious annual programme led by An Lanntair, the local creative hub on Stornaway. Over two weeks, various events are on offer celebrating the region’s fabulous dark skies.
Events include everything from live music, film and theatre to astronomy talks and stargazing. This year’s festival brings together new Astronomer Royal Catherine Heymans, singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni, award-winning science communicator Roberto Trotta, comedian Robin Ince and many more.
