Join Eastbourne Astronomical Society for a practical observing evening at their dark-sky site at Arlington Village Hall.
These informal sessions are a great opportunity to explore the night sky with experienced local astronomers. If you have your own telescope, bring it along and get friendly, hands-on help setting it up and learning how to get the best from it. It is also an ideal chance to ask questions about astronomy, observing and equipment.
When skies are clear, the evening will focus on practical observing outside. The village hall provides a warm base for presentations and activities if conditions are cloudy or wet.
Wrap up warmly, as it can get cold after dark. Tea and coffee will be available for a small charge.
The hall has its own car park; please do not use the nearby Yew Tree Inn car park.
