COSMOS Observatory Open Evening

COSMOS Observatory Open Evening

Tuesday 14th September 2021 from 20:00pm to 22:00pm

COSMOS Observatory
Signal Row, St Martins, Isles of Scilly, TR25 0QN, South West

Join the friendly and experienced team of astronomers at the Community Observatory St Martins on Scilly (COSMOS) and experience the truly wonderful dark skies above the Scilly Isles during this one of the facility’s regular Tuesday evening open nights.

From 17th May 2021 through to the end of October 2021 and depending on any Government restrictions regarding COVID the observatory will be opening its doors for small group visits. The 50-minute sessions start at 8 pm or 9 pm and must be booked in advance.

Whilst the skies may not get dark through Summer there will still be plenty to see, in particular, the planets Saturn and Jupiter can be observed in twilight skies, and therefore is very much worth a visit!

Please note that this has already taken place on 14/09/2021
