Lanyon Quoit
Madron, Penzance, Cornwall, TR20 8NY, South West England
Astrophotographer Aaron Cherrie leads immersive Milky Way astrophotography workshops in 2026 under Cornwall’s darkest skies.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate photographers, the sessions cover planning with PhotoPills and Stellarium, mastering core camera settings, and capturing the Milky Way, star trails, timelapses, and lunar alignments.
Participants also receive guidance on tracking mounts, stacking, and post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop, along with dedicated lunar-alignment sessions.
Workshops run year-round, with Milky Way shoots offered March–October, and take place at carefully selected dark-sky locations across Cornwall, chosen according to weather and visibility.
