Join us for a special guided tour of Armagh Observatory and Planetarium as we prepare for the most impressive partial solar eclipse visible from Armagh in decades.

Explore the historic Observatory building, founded in 1790, discover its fascinating history, and see a selection of our remarkable telescopes. Along the way, learn about eclipses, planetary transits, and other notable celestial events observed by generations of Armagh astronomers.

The tour concludes just in time for the eclipse, giving you the opportunity to experience this rare astronomical event from one of the world’s longest-running centres of astronomical research.
