A Night on the Moon at Sutton Bank
Saturday 12th February 2022 from 19:30pm to 22:00pm
Sutton Bank Star Hub
Sutton Bank National Park Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, YO7 2EX
Join astronomer Richard Darn for a night dominated (but not limited to!) the moon. We will use telescopes to view craters and mountains on the lunar surface and show you how to take a picture of what you can see.
Plus, we’ll tour the other stars of late winter, enjoy an interactive planetarium inside the warm Hub and get a chance to handle space rocks.
This event is suitable for adults and children over six years old and is perfect for novices, and goes ahead in all weather (unless conditions are hazardous). Warm refreshments are included in the ticket price.
Please note that this has already taken place on 12/02/2022
