Join the team at Keele Observatory every Saturday afternoon from 1 pm to 3 pm for safe solar observing sessions.
Weather permitting, you’ll have the opportunity to observe the Sun through specially filtered telescopes and discover fascinating features such as sunspots and solar activity. Experienced astronomers will be on hand to explain what you’re seeing and answer your questions.
These free sessions are suitable for all ages, no booking is required, and offer a fantastic introduction to observing our nearest star safely.
