Walton Astronomy Group is an informal and friendly bunch who enjoy welcoming new starters to the hobby. Their emphasis is very much on getting out there and observing or imaging whenever we can. The group welcome meet regularly and organise dark sky observing sessions.

    The third Thursday of the month from January 2026 to December 2026

    The Black Swan - Ockham, Cobham, KT11 1NG

    Join members of Walton Astronomy Group for their regular monthly meetings, including an overview of what to see in the sky over the coming month and observing using a telescope if the skies are clear.

    These sessions are usually on the second or third Thursday of each month however are subject to change depending on the phase of the Moon and therefore when observing is best.

    We advise getting in touch with the group to check details and let them know you plan to attend.
