Sparta Astronomy Society

The SPARTA Astronomy Society is a new astronomy group formed under SPARTA, the sports and recreational association for the Department for Transport and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC). Supported by funding from the Civil Service Sports Club (CSSC), the society will offer practical astronomy activities and equipment for members.

Membership is open to current, former, and retired civil servants, public sector workers, armed forces personnel, contractors, and others connected to public service organisations.
