Shropshire Astronomical Society

Shropshire Astronomical Society meets regularly on the third Saturday of each month at Rodington Village Hall. Meetings include a presentation by a guest speaker and then observing using telescopes if the weather permits.

Interested public members are welcome to come along -- bring your own telescope if you have one! Guests may attend a maximum of two visits before deciding to join the Society.

Everyone is invited to join the welcoming astronomers from the Shropshire Astronomical Society for this regular second-Saturday of each month observing sessions at Little Ness Village Hall. Take your telescope, if you have one. If not, the Society members will gladly show you views through theirs.

These events are free of charge and no booking is required. These events take place no matter the weather, with the village hall offering a place to meet and chat all things astronomical!

Guests and newcomers can attend these observing sessions for a maximum of two visits before being asked to join the Society.
