Sark Astronomy Society

In January 2011, Sark achieved recognition from the International Dark-Sky Association due to its remarkable pristine darkness, thereby becoming the inaugural island community to be designated as a Dark Sky Island. Concurrently, the Sark Astronomy Society (SAstroS) was established by a group of passionate stargazers, driven by the desire to introduce others to the captivating nocturnal spectacle offered by Sark.
