Peterborough Astronomical Society

The Peterborough Astronomical Society (PAS) is a welcoming community of astronomy enthusiasts based in and around Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, in the UK.

They host meetings every first Thursday of the month, typically at Sacrewell Heritage Farm, which combines informative presentations with telescope-based observing (weather permitting).

Meetings usually begin with a talk on a particular astronomy topic—ranging from cosmic phenomena to observational techniques—followed by an outdoor session where participants can look through telescopes under the night sky.
