The Knowle Astronomical Society was founded in April 2001 by local amateur astronomers to promote an interest in all things associated with the night sky.

The group meet regularly at Dorridge Village Hall for presentations and catch-ups, if the weather permits some impromptu observing from the grassy area adjacent to the venue.
