Huddersfield Astronomy Society

Huddersfield Astronomy Society hold regular practical stargazing sessions at their "Garden of Stars" dark sky location, and you are invited to join them!

Experts will be on hand to give advice about equipment and anything sky related! Bring telescopes or binoculars if you have them (though these are not required for attendance!) and any refreshments you may require. Don’t forget to wrap up warm!

These events are for both Society members and members of the public alike and are (usually) held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 19:00 to 21:30. A small on the door fee is applicable. There are toilet facilities on site.

This regular first Tuesday of the month meeting of the Huddersfield Astronomy Society offers a great opportunity to socialise with local astronomers.

The events often include a presentation or talk on various astronomical topics and, weather permitting, stargazing afterwards from the bowling green.

Everyone is welcome to join in, especially if you would like help with your telescope or seek advice on astrophotography.
