Introduction to Astronomy Course with Huddersfield Astronomy Society

Organised by the Huddersfield Astronomy Society and running for six weeks, this Introduction to Astronomy course will give you all you need to get going on your astronomy journey. The course is ideally suited to beginners, no prior experience is needed!
The course is suitable for complete beginners and people wanting to improve their astronomy knowledge.
– Learn how to navigate the night sky with confidence, identify constellations, and understand celestial movements.
– Discover different types of telescopes and how they bring the universe closer to us.
– Weather permitting, you’ll have the chance to enjoy hands-on stargazing sessions with the Society’s equipment.
The course costs £120. There is free onsite parking, and drinks and snacks available throughout the sessions.
