The Dyffryn Observatory is located on the grounds of Dyffryn Gardens and is the proud home of Cardiff Astronomical Society.
The venue is away from the worst effects of light pollution and benefits from excellent dark skies, allowing visitors to observe fantastic astronomical objects using the large 11″ aperture telescope.
The group regularly open their observatory to the public for stargazing sessions and star parties.
