Wild Wednesday: Starstruck half-term activities for children

The North Pennines has some of the darkest skies in England, and Bowlees is a Dark Sky Discovery Site. We’ll be making our constellations and hearing some of the stories behind them. There may also be rockets to make.

Wear warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear as we’ll be outdoors no matter the weather—activities aimed at ages four to 13.

This event is part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival, running from 22-31 October 2021.
