Stargazing in Kielder Forest with Stonehaugh Astronomy
Friday 17th April 2026 from 21:00pm to 23:00pm
Stonehaugh Stargazing Pavilion & Observatory
Stonehaugh, Hexham, Northumberland, NE48 3DZ
Join local astronomer Liam Reid for an introductory stargazing evening in the heart of Kielder Forest, within the spectacular Northumberland International Dark Sky Park.
Set in the remote village of Stonehaugh, this event offers a friendly guide to astronomy and the chance to explore planets, nebulae, and star clusters through wide-aperture telescopes when skies are clear.
The session includes an indoor astronomical presentation, with outdoor observing dependent on weather conditions, and will proceed regardless of cloud cover.
Please note that this has already taken place on 17/04/2026
