Explore the incredible dark skies above Dalby Forest, set in the heart of the North York Moors Dark Sky Reserve, with the friendly and passionate team of astronomers from Astro Dog.
Enjoy a stargazing session that includes a laser-guided night sky tour, and learn about constellations, asterisms (patterns of bright stars) and how to find and identify various objects.
You’ll use professional astronomy equipment, including binoculars and large aperture telescopes, to view stunning deep space objects, including stars, star clusters, planets, galaxies and nebulae.
Don’t worry if the weather is poor; you’ll enjoy immersive full-dome shows in their planetarium.
These events are ideal for families, beginners, and anyone interested in astronomy and offer a fantastic opportunity to escape the light-polluted skies of towns and cities.
