Stargazing at Boscombe Overcliff
Wednesday 5th February 2025 from 19:00pm to 20:00pm
Boscombe Overcliff Nature Reserve
Boscombe Cliff Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH5 1LN
Join Sky High Astronomy for the first trial run at broadcasting live from the clifftop in Boscombe during our usual monthly Zoom meeting! We’ll be taking a look at the Moon and the mini ‘planetary parade’ of Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, whilst learning about the stars and constellations.
For those of you joining us on Zoom it may be useful if you have downloaded the program Stellarium to a device such as a laptop or tablet. This event is run in conjunction with a local charity.
To book, please contact Parks in Mind project leader, Peter Holloway, at [email protected]
Please note that this has already taken place on 05/02/2025
