Star Party at the Jim Savage-Lowden Observatory
Saturday 30th March 2024 from 18:00pm to 22:00pm
Jim Savage-Lowden Observatory
Culloden Battlefield, Culloden Moor, Inverness-shire, IV2 5EU
Join the friendly astronomers from the Highlands Astronomical Society for this star party at their observatory. It’s perhaps the last chance to see Comet 12P/Pons Brooks, and offers possible glimpse of Mercury setting in the sunset. The moon is favourable too, allowing for observation of dim and distant objects through their powerful telescopes. Please contact the Society if you plan to attend.
Please note that this has already taken place on 30/03/2024
